R&K Care Services Ltd provides 24-hour care and support to vulnerable adults.
We specialise in intensive rehabilitation, to support and guide our service users along the care pathway to more independent living.
Our Services
R&K Care Services is designed to create a warm environment which is homely, safe and caring. We support our service users to build up daily living skills, to empower them to move to more independent living.
Our Support Includes:
- Support with managing mental and physical health
- Support to attend appointments with the GP or mental health services, or other relevant agencies
- Support with developing skills to manage self-medication and safe storage of medication
- Support with medication concordance and side effect management
- Personal hygiene support if required
- To develop everyday skills including cooking, cleaning, and shopping
- Access to paid and voluntary work in the local area
- Support with managing budgeting and finance
- Support with using public transport and local leisure activities
- Access to local community amenities – confidence building
- Support to maintain contact with significant others
- 1:1 weekly key working sessions
- Structured group activities like cooking classes, art groups, access to adult education
Facilities
Our accommodation in Southend on Sea offers spacious accommodation for adults.
Every service user will have their own private bedroom, fully furnished and shared communal facilities. This includes the lounge, kitchen, bathroom and toilet. As well as, Freeview TV, Free Wi-Fi and adequate parking. The house is in a quiet location with easy access to local amenities and public transport. It is a walking distance to Southend sea front, the local adult college and the local town centre
